Baby Adiyson

I spent my Memorial Day photographing a brand new little person! Miss Adiyson was welcomed to this world only 11 days ago. She was such a sweet little baby, really a pleasure for me to spend time with. There are so many from this session that I love, but here are a couple of my favorites. I really love the little peely feet - they are only that way for such a short time when they are still fresh from their watery home. :)

Coffee Table & Memory Books

Coffee table books are one of my absolute favorite things to create. They are such a beautiful way to display all of your photos. I recently created one for a 2009 senior, but I also do them for maternity, newborns, families and more. A perk of my “baby’s first year package” (6 sessions -maternity, newborn, &  3, 6, 9, 12 months) is that you get a custom book at the end documenting your little one’s first year. How cute is that?

Here is a four page example of the senior book I just created:

Books come hardbound or softbound in several different sizes.

Wall Gallery Displays

I always drool when I see the Pottery Barn Catalogs, because they do such a great job with wall displays.  I am “spacially challenged” as my husband likes to say, and for the life of me cannot imagine what something is going to look like until I make a bunch of nail holes in the wall. What that means, unfortunately, is that he’s gotten really good at patching up the walls. :)

I figured there were other people out there like me, so I threw myself into putting together some wall gallery templates. This way, you can just choose your space, plug in your portraits, and look at that! You have a wall display that Pottery Barn would be envious of. Here’s a glance at what these look like:

Every client gets the entire set during our session - so you can have beautiful walls too!

Client site is up!

I’ve been doing my best as my business is getting started to remain committed to being a “green” studio. A big part of this has been putting together a client site, which will be customized for each individual client I have. It’s something I’ve been working on day and night  (which the state of my house can attest to!)  and it’s finally complete! I am so excited about it and I hope my clients are too. Wanna see?? Well, I guess you’ll have to book a session !!!  tee-hee! :)

Meet Alex.

Would you like to see my adorable, fun, lovely niece? We went out last week and photographed some early senior portraits for her. This was sooo much fun, and I got so many amazing shots of her. It’s not hard when you’re 17, gorgeous, and photogenic, right?

Her eyes are incredible. I’m sure you’ll be seeing more of this session as I make my way through them. :)
